Meet the PWOC International Executive Board
Brenda Marlin
As a young girl, I always dreamed of being the first lady astronaut or an archeologist.  I wanted to go places and see things that had not been already discovered.  I had a love for exploring that sometimes would lead me to places that uncovered many delightful treasures. As I grew up, I realized that I would not be the first woman on the moon, nor find hidden treasures in the sand; however, what I did find is a love for digging treasures out of God’s Word and His people.  My greatest joy in serving the Lord is to help people uncover “treasures” within themselves—to see themselves as God sees them—precious in His sight.  Although I still love to find “treasures” in the nearest thrift shop or flea market, it is my passion to help people find their identity in Christ—to be free to truly love Him and to be set free from anything that hinders our relationship with Him. My prayer for the women of PWOC is Isaiah 61:1-4 and my desire is that the church would operate fully in the Spirit of God, not in the flesh, so that the world may truly know the love of Jesus Christ. I have two grown children, a son-in-law and three precious grandchildren—all the apple of my eye.  I have been blessed with an incredibly awesome husband, David who recently returned from Iraq.  We both share a passion to see marriages flourish during these difficult times we find ourselves in.

Dear Ones:
What a blessing to be called to serve you as 1VP-Fall Focus!  I'm excited to see what God is doing next, and how He will bind our hearts together more fully in the next two years.  My dear husband, Richard, is currently serving in Iraq again.  The boys (2 teenagers!) are keeping me busy and entertained at home.  As God has used PWOC conferences in my life, I desire to see others drawn closer to the heart of God through knowledge, faith and celebration.  Please pray with me for His plan to unfold in our lives daily and in conference planning.

Blessings, Rose McConnell

Beth Mills

Dear New Friends,
I am Beth Mills, your new Traveling Training Coordinator for 2006-2008.  Nearly twenty years ago, God united my heart and life with a wonderful man who is my husband and my best friend.  Together we have answered the call to be lovers of God, learners of wisdom and knowledge, and leaders of people.  We have five awesome children, one of whom has graduated high school and is in college.  We continue to homeschool the other four.  As a family, we have experienced God’s presence and provision mightily in our lives as we’ve gone through many moves (military and civilian!), graduate school, church plants, and deployments.  And though I’ve experienced what it means to be wife, mother, teacher, and leader, I most want to be remembered as “friend of God”.  My most recent favorite scripture is Exodus 33:14—And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”  I am nothing without His Presence in my life, and, like Moses, I have no desire to go forward in ministry unless His Presence goes with us. The team of women serving you in PWOC International look forward to working together with you.  It is our hope that with the Lord’s help, and through the ministry of Traveling Training, you will be inspired and equipped to impact people’s lives with Jesus’ love as you usher in His kingdom into your communities.
Blessings,
Beth \o/
