Where Is Your Faith?
Peace is the glue that hold’s your faith
By: Angela E. Coburn
In the middle of the deep dark waters, life sometimes gives us every opportunity to be afraid. In the midst of the constant rain that blinds us from making good decisions in life, and the fearsome wind that causes so much destruction around us we are full of doubt.

NO ROOM IN THE INN!
Michele Husfelt, Ft Huachuca PWOC
We began to plan for our spring retreat back in the fall. We had already asked Victoria Robinson to come and be our speaker and were excited about the vision God had placed on a few of us for a time of refreshing and renewing come springtime.

What's in a Title?
Article by: De'Etta Goecker
Have you ever contemplated what title you would most like to carry? I have many titles: “Wife of Michael Goecker”, “Child of God”, “Mother to Bre, Krista, Josiah, Jamin, Jared, Arielle, Nolan, Zander and Stacia”, “Home Educator”, “Chaplain’s Wife”, “Air Force Spouse”, “PWOC President”, “Cook, Housekeeper and Bottle-Washer”….. You also have many titles. Which title do we desire above all else?

The Vision of His Fingerprints
Article by: De'Etta Goecker
I've been noticing fingerprints lately. As a mother of a growing (somewhat large) family I've had lots of time to observe fingerprints. Nothing prepared me for the thick DUST of West Texas, dust that is perfectly suited to display fingerprints!
Fasting – The Overlooked Christian Discipline
Article by:Noel Guarino
Somehow, somewhere along the way, fasting - a tradition of the faithful throughout the centuries - has fallen out of the consciousness of the church as a whole. Regardless of how and why this has happened, the time has come to re-examine the practice and consider its applicability to our lives today as followers of Christ.

The Way of the Cross
Articles by: Cindy Welch
Part One
Luke 9:23-25 tells us, “And [Jesus] said to all, ‘If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.’” Years ago, Francis Frangipane gave one of my all-time favorite teachings called The Ultimate Weapon: The Power of the Cross.
Part Two
“If anyone would come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” I love that word “if” in this passage. The implication is that I can refuse this path.
Part Three
Philippians 3:10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; 11 in order that I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. According to Paul, to know the resurrection power of Jesus Christ is to be willing to walk the way of His cross. It is God’s only revealed way for me – and you – to achieve the resurrection from the dead.
Part Four
Many times my father has heard me say, “You know, I can nail in my feet and one of my hands, but that other hand – I just can’t seem to get it nailed onto the cross!” We are utterly unable to complete the task of our own crucifixion.

Being Helpful: Getting beyond "Let me know what I can do"
Article by: Andrea Plotner
As anyone who has ever been in need of serious help knows, “Let me know what I can do” may be the least helpful phrase ever heard. It’s kindly meant, of course, but not very specific and there are few souls bold enough to throw out suggestions of what they really need. By being specific in your offer, however, you can often minister in ways that will bless both giver and receiver.

Disciple Your Child Read Aloud
Article by: Andrea Plotner
This is not an article about disciplining your kids! This is about dis-ci-ple-ship. Though they share the same root word and go hand in hand, we’re talking not about the correction side of the house here (though vital), but on the training and instruction.

Take the Challenge! Bible Book Memory
Article by: Andrea Plotner
It’s impossible to eat just one potato chip, right? Well, think of Bible memory the same way. It can be hard for just one verse to stick. But by memorizing a whole idea (paragraph, chapter, book!), you’ve got a full meal (calorie free), a major accomplishment, and more than just a random quote jingling around upstairs. You’ve got context.
