Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.  1 Peter 4:10-11a

Dearest Sisters in Christ,
I’m excited to let you know that it is that time of year again for us to begin thinking about Fall Focus and the Selection Process!  Time for us to begin preparing our hearts and minds so that God can speak to us about what it is He wants us to do to further the cause of PWOC International over the next 2 years.  Looking at the above scripture let us use the gifts and talents God has given us to serve the women of PWOC International and to honor Him.
         As we go about seeking God for the women He has for this season, be in prayer with us for God’s heart to be pleased with the Selection process.  My prayer is for God’s will to be done and His Kingdom to come on earth as it is in Heaven.  My desire is for us to bring Glory to God through what is done and the women that are chosen.  I do not take this lightly and I covet your prayers as I begin this process.
         This year we will begin taking applications in May and they must be returned by mail NLT 10 October 2008.  You can find the application online under the Leadership Hub along with other documents of interest.  Let us work with excellence together as we go through this Selection Process and God reveals who He has chosen for such a time as this.
         The PWOC International Board is diligently praying for you as you seek God’s will in this process.  We are praying that as you hear from God that you will act in obedience to His call.  Please pray for us as we seek to discern God’s choice for the next PWOC International Board.  Thank you for your willingness to serve.

         Believe God with me ladies for His purposes and will to be completely fulfilled in PWOC International through this process and through the faithfulness of the women who will serve us next term.  Faith is to believe what we do not see, and the reward of this faith is to see what we believe. (Augustine)  Let’s ask ourselves, “What are we currently doing that will bring us closer to where God wants us to be?”  Let us seek His face with all diligence so that we are always in the center of His perfect will for our lives.  I pray that each of us will rally to His call, whatever that may be for your life in obedience and in faith.  May God Bless you.
