Edith Sawyer
Edith began dramatizing women of the Bible while living at Ft. Meade, Maryland.  She was asked to take part in a PWOC program entitled “Little Known Women of the Bible.”  In lieu of telling about the biblical woman assigned, Edith asked if she could portray the woman.  As a result, Tower Ministries (based on Proverbs 18:10, “The name of the Lord is a strong tower;), was birthed.  Since that time Edith has added many Biblical women to her ministry repertoire.  She has had numerous opportunities to share her unique Biblical messages. Edith has published two volumes of her inspirational poetry, a book of devotions, and produced a CD with original poems and original music being played in the background.She currently portrays 11 different women; and at this time has “revised” and “reprised” her portrayal of the Samaritan woman to directly speak of love and acceptance, if we truly desire “Unity, that the World may know!”
