Joan Mathisrud

Joan has a special place in her heart for the women who quietly and inconspicuously serve our country. Believing that our military wives are today's "unsung heroes", Joan began praying for opportunities to minister to the ladies who make uncompromising, unselfish sacrifices for the men who serve and fight to defend the freedom of our country. God heard Joan's prayer and answered in a mighty way. He has provided numerous opportunities for Joan to share a special message of encouragement and love to military wives, active duty women and missionaries, throughout Japan and Korea, speaking at PWOC (Protestant Women of the Chapel) retreats and special PWOC events.
