Dear Precious Beloved of Christ,

During this season of “At the Redeemer’s Feet”, I encourage you to learn as much as you can about the kinsman redeemer, the book of Ruth, the story of Ruth and Boaz, the culture and season in which they lived and the ultimate love story of how Jesus has redeemed you once and for all. Even an exploration of the words, “redeemer, redemption and feet” can be a journey in itself that can lead you closer to Jesus Christ, your Redeemer. read more

Precious Sisters,
I can't think of any more fitting theme to celebrate at one of our PWOC gatherings than "At the Redeemer's Feet." Truly that is the cry of our hearts as an International Board .... that you will still yourself before Him, sit at His feet and hear what His Spirit whispers to your heart in the coming days. read more from Kimlee S. Bringing You the Classics
By Andrea Plotner
PWOC International Communications Coordinator
Forgive the term, but one of my “guilty pleasures” in life is shopping. Given an afternoon to myself, I’ll often wander and browse through my favorite shops for inspiration to decorate our home or perk up my wardrobe. But when it comes time to move, which is usually does with the military, I ask myself, “What was I thinking?” and then comes the process of scaling back down to “the classics".

Girlfriend’s Guide to Deployment: Maintaining Intimacy in a Long-Distance Marriage I am a digi-geek to the core so when my husband deployed, I was completely prepared to maintain a daily stream of electronic messages and updates. I had it all figured out! I have a family website with a blog page that I keep updated with pictures and event news. I send at least one email each day (I say ‘at least one’ because it’s usually many more!). read more

BonfireBon-Fire/Scavenger Hunt Anyone? The idea is to have clues and a question that leads the group to the next clue.  Each clue was a part of the night’s event.  For instance, the first clue was roasting forks, then marshmallows, hotdog buns, graham crackers, and finally, chocolate. read more

The Story of the “God’s Promises Footprints
By Shannon Wiley When the time came for my husband to be deployed to Iraq, I was overwhelmed with fear as I am sure we all are when that dreaded news comes. We had just moved and were still living in a hotel. My husband, being in personnel, wasn’t even supposed to go to war. He didn’t even have the war training the rest of his unit got because we were brand new to the unit. None of that mattered – he left and I was scared.
